The writing spaces that I most frequently use would be Microsoft Word, text messaging, and e-mail.
Microsoft Word is a word processing program that I use mostly for my school work. All of the assignments that I have to hand in are completed in this program. Microsoft Word allows me to type my papers, make corrections as I go along, cut and paste when reorganizing, run spell check, and save for future references. This is unique because it is widely used in the computer community, which allows it to be transferred from one computer to another.
Text – messaging is connected to my cell phone and I use it to have back and forth contact with someone that is not able to talk on the phone at a particular time. It has the capability to form words for me when I type in the beginning letter; it is similar to a keyboard. This is unique since it is done strictly through cell phones.
For e-mail I use three different services. Through work I use the District system through their website. For school I use the Rowan e-mail, and for my personal e-mail I use Smart Zone through Comcast. They all allow me to send and receive messages at anytime. This is unique since it a faster way to sent mail than the US Mail service.
Since all three of these writing spaces are fairly new and commonly used they do not remediate each other. E-mail does remediate the standard system of mail. Microsoft Word remediates the standard typewriter.
